Healthy 10 min oats Laddu


A healthy and nutty oats laddu which is easy to make and packed with the nutrients. Also it does not require any sugar in the making process. It can be prepared with simple ingredients within 15 minutes.


Ingredients

4 pitted dates 1/2 cup unsalted raw almonds 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes 1/2 cup rolled oats pinch of salt 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter 1teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips


* you can adjust the measurements of ingredients according to the quantity you need to make

Method


  • Soak the pitted dates in 1/4 cup hot water for 10 minutes, reserve the water

  • In a food processor, combine the almonds, coconut flakes, oats and salt. Grind until it forms a fine meal.

  • Add the peanut butter, soaked dates(Remove the seed) , 3 tablespoons of the reserved soaking water and the vanilla. Process until the mixture forms a cookie-dough consistency.

  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add semi sweet chocolate chip .

  • Using an ice cream scoop, portion the dough onto the baking sheet.

  • Refrigerate until the dough is chilled and set, about 20 minutes.(It can be served without refrigeration too)

  • Laddu is ready to serve
