Banana Bread
Banana bread is my all time favorite and I usually make it whenever I have left with over-ripe bananas at my pantry. This recipe is simple ,easy and the bread turnout to be soft and delicious.
This recipe is eggless version of making banana bread and it came out absolutely perfect.
But there are some points to be taken care of while baking : like ingredients used should be at room temperature and make sure oven is preheated before placing the bread in oven. Also used the ingredients as mentioned in terms of measurement.
You can also add raisins & flax seeds as well to give bread some different taste.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter(unsalted)
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 mashed overripe bananas
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder , salt & keep aside. In a separate bowl, cream together butter(unsalted) and brown sugar. Then add mashed bananas and blend well. Now add recently prepare banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then use serrated knife to cut into pieces and serve.
