Baked Apple chips

"An Apple a day keeps doctor away " is the saying I grew up with. Apple was necessary fruit to be included in my diet .So I started trying different ways to eat apples and recently discovered a healthy and easy way to eat them.


For this recipe only 3 ingredients is required apples, cinnamon and sugar.





Ingredients: (Quantity can be altered as per required)

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • 1-2apples, cored and sliced into thin rounds(I prefer grammy smith apples as they are not too sweet)


Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl. Add apple slices and toss to coat. Arrange apple slices in a single layer on prepared baking sheets.

  3. Bake apples in the preheated oven until browned and just crisped, about 90-100 minutes. Cool completely.

  4. Apple chips are ready to serve.
