Bread Pizza


This dish is really easy to make and get ready in just 15 minutes. Whenever I don't have time too cook and have guest coming this dish is my life savior. I call this dish as bread pizza because it is easy to make children eat it by this name .


Good thing about this dish is it require very simple ingredients like onions, chilis, scallions, tomatoes, rava/sooji ,curd and of course bread and plus it is simple to prepare. Make sure bread is white as brown bread wont be able to provide the same texture and taste to the dish.



Ingredients (Serving 2)

White bread slices- 4

Small onion finely chopped- 1 ( You can chopped 2 scallions rather than onions if want mild taste)

Small tomato finely chopped - 1

Small chillies chopped -1-2

coriander leaves chopped - 2-4 tsp

S00ji/Rava - 1.5 tsp

Curd - 2- 2.5 tsp

Oil for toasting bread - 1/2-1 tsp slices for toasting one slice

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Chili flakes to taste(Optional)


Method:

  1. Take a bowl and combine chili,onions,tomatoes,coriander, sooji and curd. Add salt, chili flakes and black pepper . Keep aside and mix well. Make sure the mixture has decent thick consistency and not watery.

  2. Heat a frying pan and add oil for toasting the bread.

  3. On the bread slices spread the curd mixture prepared earlier in good quantity. Make sure the curd mixture have consistency to spread and not too watery. You can make adjustments to make the mixture thick.

  4. Place the filling side down and cook till the mixture become brown. Flip and cook other side to get the crunchy texture. If the bread start to stick to the pan add more oil.

  5. Once the bread is ready cut into half to form 8 triangular pieces

  6. Serve with green chutney.

  7. Cook all the 4 slices in same way.
